C4L Academy Meets Stringent AdvancED Accreditation Requirements

C4L Academy is proud to announce that we have formally earned the distinction of a 5 year accreditation by AdvancED!  AdvancEd is the largest community of education professionals in the world. They are “a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential.  The AdvancED Standards for Quality Schools and the AdvancED Accreditation Process offer schools a roadmap for the pursuit of excellence in education and student learning, unleashing their own power to transform.“

The AdvancED accreditation process for C4L Academy began with an internal school review, followed by a number of surveys of our students, staff, and teaching faculty.  On May 22 and May 23, 2017, the assigned AdvancED team came to visit C4L Academy and conducted on-site interviews with students, instructors, counselors, and campus coaches, observed classes, and looked for evidence within the AdvancED evaluation criteria.  The results of this evaluation are represented in the Index of Education Quality (IEQ™).  The IEQ™ comprises three domains: 1) the impact of teaching and learning on student performance; 2) the leadership capacity to govern; and 3) the use of resources and data to support and optimize learning.

The External Review Team found that C4L Academy “has a firm foundation and strong commitment to provide the very best for its students.  The school’s proven track record, implementation of significant change in the past, and commitment to excellence will be enhanced as the school continues to focus on school improvement.”

C4L Academy's accreditation is your guarantee of academic quality.

Accreditation is a voluntary method of quality assurance developed more than 100 years ago by American universities and secondary schools and designed primarily to distinguish schools adhering to a set of educational standards. Today the accreditation process is used at all levels of education and is recognized for its ability to effectively drive student performance and continuous improvement in education.
